it's been more than 1 mth b4 i posted....well was juz bz(playing games...hee)

so far, all de exams i did fairly well and btw, ytd u won't believe it but i got sent out of the class! (Apparently, sum1 framed me and i gotta miss some educational stuff)

then, de guy hu framed me got sent out again in oral comm. class....he juz talk 2 much...

and then of course there's my life with my pri sch frens, hu keep pestering me witht this conference with wes, crys and vic....haiz.... guess wad, in de end they didn't watch spiderman 3....(luckily, cuz i watched it like a few days after it came out...haha)

This sat, gonna b so i dunno how to describe. hectic. yes tt's de word. Flag day i reach AMK MRT @ 7.40....all the way to 1 pm and then my parents will fetch me to expo 2pm to 9.30pm 4 jackie pullinger conference(so c00l)..... de conference is abt ministry just in case ur wondering....

so far life sitting beside edward was....ineveitably(however u spell tt) painful(jk).... quite hilarious with de 'i'm gonna die andre...'lolz. and of course fun with de maths genius, discussing abt i and some mathsy stuff(usually in maths lesson cuz de tchr dun care since our marks are already so gd...hee)....BTW, HE GOT 7TH FOR SMOPS....

And of course, there's special prog....haiz. how i wish 4 hols to come soon.

i'finally posting, after so long

the last time i posted was more than a mth ago, i still wonder if pple still visit tis blog.

recently, i've went thru many ups and downs. I failed my chinese - 24/60(which is v bad) but got top in class 4 geog cct(class common test). I got invested as a CEC(Class Executive Commitee) and now i have to wear the extra badge- it looks quite nice though but v ma fan every morning hav to go pin. I didn't get full marks or more 4 ma test, instead i got 28/30. Highest in class was 31.5/30. haiz, i'm backsliding. French Petit Test i got 9.5/15 and the controle is coming tis mth, i'm gonna die.

still, i've learnt to give thanks in everything.

de hols are here, finally i can rejoice, or that was wad i tot. I hav tons of h/w, actually not tons but alot. I wanna slack oso cannot lehz. What to do? I still remember clearly de dec hols, slacking all the way, no h/w, hardly any tution... If onli....haiz....

I've been very buzy juggling with sch work and cca(RIMB- Raffles Institution Military Band) that i had no time to blog. Or at least i dun feel like it after a hectic day. My life is mostly school, cca...etc. that I had to time 4 other stuff.

This is the solution they gave us:

Place 1, 2, 3 in different boxes (6 possibilities) and then place n in the same box as its residue mod 3.

and another 6 possibilities 4 another case but tt's not de point.

i remember i posted it b4, it's de magician qn frm imo

now i get it

Let x be any number from box 1
Let y be any number from box 2
Let z be any number from box 3

x equivalent 0 mod 3
y equivalent 1 mod 3
z equivalent 2 mod 3

so if total sum is equivalent to 0 mod 3, it is from box 2 and 3

my cuzzin came to my house and gonna stay 4 like 3 yrs cuz he frm malaysia then he wanna study in sg and then after tt no place to stay so stay in my house...YAY! LOLZ.

so horrible, test onli after 3 periods of philo(1 period = 1hr) so far in de entire year...and de 1st period is introductory, nothing taught...

hi, finally decided to blog

came back frm orientation camp on de 6th jan 2007.

with sunburns and a little fear(i overcomed it!)lolz.

my frens were like saying it's a little like military camp...juz MORE FUN!LOLZ!

psl(peer support ldr) were great, though lionel kept shouting some sense into us...lolz

this yr's team 4 orientation camp is nagarro, which means "A Spirit Materialized" and manifests a great driving force which they call the Rafflesian Spirit.

lots of stuff, like we got alot of cheers, batch song and all.

we got bag check where we hav to unpack and pack, then got mass activities at bishan park, then we hav to make our own totems 4 our tribes(class), then there's this activity called armageddon, which is a fun activity but if a person 'strays' from the team(though it's like a metre away), he will be caught and brought where we hav to save de person frm de court of doom....lolz.

day 2 first we hav pt(physical training), quite tough though, then this walk of trust(u wan more details tell me personally), then got the nagarron expeditions which is like amazing race...we onli got 2000+ points though we didn't put in our best effort but de 2000+ points is de FIRST! YAY! then we got this face ur darkest fears where we watch half of ju-on2(super scary)...then we hav to walk around de sch and listen to ghost stories and all...

day 3 is super nice, first got a little pt, then de last game which is a war game, called survival of the fittest! then de raffles trail which was de looking at ccas and all, then Celebration which was de finale of de camp... tell u... DE CAMP RAWKS! YEAH! Though de sun ws super hot and got alot of sunburns...*sobs*...lolz

31st December 2006(de great day):

first when i reached expo, had lunch with my cell grp

then we go play soccer with eugene they all as well

soccer field so small, goal so small, time so little, in de end 0-0...

after that de sermon was gr8

we went up and then my leg was like trembling super fast uncontrollably

then when ps nina khong touched us, we fell and my leg was still trembling super fast...

then when we got up already, my leg stopped trembling liao...

after that we got cluster activities... WE ONLI COMPLETED 2 OUT OF 5 STATIONS!LOLZ

BUT WE GOT DE BEST 4 STATION C...HAHAZ

then we made super big words ethnos-emanuel...which was our cluster root words

then we had dinner(which i didn't eat much)

mayb i shld crap abt de hk n bangkok trip...

ok i shall...nth else 2 do anywae...

day 1: arrive at bangkok...went to mbk, bought jeans and a COMA shirt(ask cass or den)

day 2:went on city tour, which included diamond factory and all, then went shopping in paragon...haiz
i dun really like shopping

day 3:GO HK!!!YAY!finally...arrived then go some crap 街 lah

day 4: went to some city tour then went to some diamond factory(again), then went to ocean park...got alot of nice rides...
like dragon(dun dare to ride cuz got super big loops and all),
abyss(oso dun dare to ride cuz u drop 20 stories freefall),
mine ride(de drop is super sharp and super scary like ur going to commit suicide, still ride it like 3 times, super fun when u feel like u've escape death, yay! bought on-ride photo, super darn ex. like $28, for photo, keychain and magnet
space wheel(dun dare ride cuz it like goes 360 lots of times)
eagle and flying swing(nothing much, though height requirement is like 122 cm, dunno y, u juz feel like u gonna swing out of ur seat...)
then went back hotel use internet

day 5: went hk disneyland(not v fun, but got space mountain and de buzz lightyear thingy)
met my cuzzin's there...what a small world!, and then we like ride space mountain like 7,8 times
then there's tis boy, hu like seems to know us very well and kept chatting, i let my bro do de talking
and then i got space ace at de buzz lightyear thingy...lucky 1 lah...
then went back and use de internet frm de hotel

day 6:went ocean park(again!), i noe waste money, but tis time go with my cuzzin
but flight today so hav to go home early
and rain like siao lah, cannot take most of de rides
it's super siao, then when we leave, it stopped raining

There are 3 boxes, and we can change the position of the piles(so that it is 3! which is 6), so that means there are actually 2 different 'ways' of having the piles.

The WHY-DIDNT-I-THINK-OF-IT Method:
1 box has (1), another box has (100), and another box has the cards 2-99

If the sum is 1-100, it means it is from the 1st and 3rd box
If the sum is 101, it means it is from the 1st and 2nd box
If the sum is 102-199, it means it is from the 2nd and 3rd box

Since n + 2 ≤ N ≤ n + (n - 1) = 2n - 1, we can achieve the same sum N as from a different pair of boxes as (n + 1) + (N - n - 1). Contradiction. Case 1: A contains 1; B contains 2; C contains 3 Case 2: A contains 1,2 Case 3: A contains 1, 3; B contains 2 Case 4: A contains 1; B contains 2, 3.
We show that Cases 1 and 4 each yield just one possible arrangement and Cases 2 and 3 none.
